* Features are included with the website and can be set up via Do-it-Yourself (DIY) content management tools at no additional cost, or Jobber Designs can configure them at hourly rates.
** FREE entry in our website directory system is provided to all Jobber Designs website customers. Our directory system is organically marketed, and it relays website traffic to Jobber Designs websites in a batting order rotation. The number of entries in the batting order is equal to the TIER # purchased (TIER 1 gets one entry, TIER 2 gets two entries, etc.). Customers can opt-out of receiving leads if they choose to do so. This search engine marketing service is offered as a courtesy and a “thank you” to our valued customers. Additional entries in the rotation cannot be purchased– this is simply a free gift we provide to our customers.
Important Notes on TIER Packages:
1. Domain Names: You will need a domain name for your web page or website. If you already have one, we can help you adjust the settings to point it to your new web presence. If you do not already have a domain name, we offer domain registrations (see our Services Page).
2. Email Forwarders and Accounts: If you already have a domain name with email services associated with it, we do not require you to use the email services packaged with our hosting. We can help you point your domain name to your new website package but keep email as-is. Each situation involving email accounts is unique, so we will confer with you about your options as needed. If you move existing email services to our hosting to take advantage of the free email accounts and forwarders included in your package, you will need to ensure you have an archive/backup of your email folders before changing domain name settings. (We’re happy to provide guidance and instruction.) If you keep your domain-related email service elsewhere (example: outlook.com, Google Workspace, etc.), you simply won’t be utilizing the email services provided with your TIER Package.
3. Subscriptions: Your TIER Package is a subscription, charged annually. You will not be charged for your subscription until we begin setting up and configuring your web presence. The one-time setup fee and annual hosting subscription will be charged when we allocate server resources for your site and begin work on your TIER Package, and we will contact you when your package is ready to go live on the Web. Each year, your payment method will be automatically rebilled to keep your hosting subscription active, so your website maintains continuity (i.e., doesn’t go down). Failed or declined transactions will cause your website and email hosting to be discontinued after a 15-day grace period once we notify you that your payment was unsuccessful.
4. TIER Package Setup and Timeframes: Each package is customized and configured (setup) individually. The one-time setup fee covers the time to configure and quality-check your website. All work is performed in the United States. We do not outsource overseas. Typical setup times are as follows:
- TIER 1 Web Pages: 1-2 business days
- TIER 2 Static Websites: 2-4 business days
- TIER 3 Basic Customized Websites: 4-7 business days
- TIER 4 PRO Customized Websites: 5-10 business days
Building your TIER Package is an interactive process. We ensure it’s done right and to your satisfaction. (See our Terms of Service Page for our Satisfaction Guarantee). During the setup period, we will communicate with you to ensure your website details are complete and correct, to ensure a smooth project completion.
Need a “Built-from-Scratch” Custom Design?
If you would prefer to have a custom-built website “from the ground, up”, we offer project-based professional design services, as well. The design process for a new website project is somewhat more involved than the TIER Packages offered above. Accordingly, there is substantially more communication involved with building the website you have in mind.
To make the process more efficient and less costly to you, we ask that you provide us with the information requested in our Website Project Questionnaire. At first glance, the questionnaire appears very lengthy, but keep in mind, not every question applies to every custom designed project. Many of the questions can be marked as “N/A” (“not applicable”). We use your responses in the questionnaire to create a formal website project proposal, just to be sure we’re “on the same page” with you. It makes for a much smoother project and a better experience for all involved.
Typically, custom-designed websites are for large sites and/or sites with specific, special functionality. Custom websites take longer to complete, requires more resources, and cost more money than customized websites. In most cases, one of our TIER Packages will meet your needs perfectly, but if you need something more robust, we’re at the table ready to work with you!
The basic process for creating a new custom design is as follows:
- Submit the Website Project Questionnaire to share your vision and preferences
- We send you a formal proposal with the scope of work, costs, and timeline
- Once you have approved our proposal, we add your project to our production schedule
- We perform multiple “stage checks” throughout the process to ensure a smooth outcome
- Your custom website gets finalize and goes live on the web
